Keisha Janae was awarded 2023 residency at the Chicago Cultural Center's Dance Studio to direct the Praise House Language Workshops. Our multidisciplinary artists and care professionals have facilitated a creative experience with families and participants to artistically create and express themselves through praise. During this process, The Praise House incorporated experimental play, in a sacred circle where care and creativity converged. Our aim was to provide a space for creative exploration and spiritual upliftment, where testimonies, dance, art-making, and song intertwine to form a powerful outlet for authentic release and fellowship through the love of God.

Join us on a journey of soulful expression deeply rooted in the spirit of praise. Participants of all backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences are warmly welcomed to our workshops. 

Facilitations Led by Keisha Janae, Gloria Parker, Marceia Scruggs, Stephen Wilkes, Izzy Brown, Mandela Okere, Solomon Bowser, our facilitators draw upon spiritual and faith-based traditions, placing the worship of God through Christ Jesus at the heart of our practice.
